The Cashmere Glass Collection is a testament to the intricate artistry of Portuguese artisans. The process begins with a flat piece of clear glass, which is carefully cut into the shape it will become. The number of colours in the collection determines the number of templates used to layer the sand onto the glass. Artisans start by placing the first template onto the glass and sifting sand through it to fill the template with a specific colour. With precision, the template is then lifted and removed. Another template is placed onto the clear glass to sift a different colour of sand, creating the next shape. This process is repeated until the flat glass is nearly covered with different colours of sand. Next, artisans lay a clean piece of clear glass on top, creating a sandwich, and carefully transport it to the kiln where it rests upon the shape it will become. In the kiln, it undergoes baking
